Addiction Recovery Support


Villa Renovatio is a safe, secure haven where all our guests can enjoy a holiday while being supported in their recovery from addiction in a totally sympathetic environment. Although there are no formal meetings or group therapy sessions, full support is available to guests, irrespective of their recovery programme or philosophy. Renovatio is non-denominational and not aligned to any particular association.

Alcoholics Anonymous (AA) meetings in English are held on Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays in the neighbouring towns of Portimão and Albufeira. Our driver is available to take guests to meetings. Anonymity is also acknowledged when anyone is attending 12 step meetings.

Daily yoga and meditation sessions are available, in addition to regular evening sunset meditation excursions.

A fully qualified doctor is on call 24/7 and there is a private hospital in Monchique in case of medical emergencies.

An extensive selection of Sobriety literature is also available to guests in the house library.

 

 

There is a zero tolerance policy towards alcohol and all drugs*.

Guests are required to sign an agreement prior to arrival, agreeing to honour the non-drinking principals of Renovatio and respect the peace of mind of others.
